Introducing Folklore & Fibre, a small independent hand-dyed yarn business based in South Australia.

Specialising in hand-dyed yarns inspired by folklore, nature, magic and a little bit of whimsy, each skein is dyed by hand by Amy, owner, in small batches at her southern Adelaide studio. She produces wonderfully unique products made for the avid knitting or crochet enthusiast.

What is Folklore & Fibre?

Folklore & Fibre creates hand-dyed yarn infused with intention and inspired by the natural world, fantasy, folklore, and the unseen.

Each vibrant colourway draws from the deep energies of crystals, the symbolism of tarot and astrology, and the quiet magic found in misty forests and moonlit skies. Rooted in the earth and guided by intuition, these yarns are crafted by hand and dyed with soul to evoke feeling, tell stories, and add a touch of enchantment to your creative process.
